Where The Music Is Made: Gabriele Bazzi Berneri

What kind of MIDI controller do you use and why?

I use an M-Audio Oxygen-88 because it combines a full 88-keys piano keyboard with a set of programmable buttons, knobs and sliders.

What is your go-to sample library?

It depends on the genre. Since I mostly write orchestral music, I use a lot of East West Hollywood Orchestra and Vienna Symphonic Library. I also use Spectrasonics Omnisphere and Stylus RMX for electronic parts.

Which DAW do you use?

Logic Pro.

What kind of computer do you use?

Mac Pro with Avid M-Box.

What most excites you about the future of music production?

I’m really interested in the possibilities of collaboration and communication that the internet offers. Even if in-person relationships are irreplaceable, the opportunity to get my music licensed for film/TV or to get hired as a composer from different parts of the world is very exciting.
